Bill enhances philanthropic giving at UBS through new services, strategic consulting and leading administrative, educational and networking programs.
Bill joined the Firm in 2007 as the Head of Philanthropic Services, U.S. His focus is to enhance the philanthropic offering at UBS through new services, strategic consulting and leading administrative, educational and networking programs for client advisors and their individual and non-profit clients. Bill serves on the Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) Board at UBS.
An active member of the non-profit community, Bill serves on several boards. He attended CARE’s inaugural Corporate Leadership Forum and toured both Tsunami-impacted villages and Microfinance projects in Southern India. Bill regularly speaks across the country about such subjects as private foundations, grant-making, technology and philanthropy, Mission Related Investing, SRI, planned giving and best practices and trends for individual philanthropists and not-for-profit organizations. He has also been quoted in national and industry publications.
Most recently, Bill was named a "2010 Rising Star of Foundations and Endowments" by Foundation and Endowment magazine. Education Bill received his B.A. in Theater from Davidson College. He received his J.D. from Samford University, Bill is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
